Dizziness/Vertigo

In our clinic we have a 5 step comphrehensive analysis and approach to correcting the cause of your dizziness or similar symptoms. We have the tools to measure the 4 major sensory systems of the body that may be causing your dizziness and we have the skills to correct the the problem for so many.

Its important to know that the brain/body relies on these 4 majory Sensory systems in order to correctly know where it is in space so it can properly know how to control posture, movement, balance, and stability. if any one of theses systems is off then the other sensory systems will overcompensate and cause symptoms, one of which can be dizziness.

Sensory SystemTest/Exam findingsHow to correct it

1) EyesRightEye test or other like with VNG etc. Vision Therapy /Functional Neurology
2) Inner earVestibular/ Balance Exam. Vestibular rehab
3) Somatosensory / Proprioceptive-  Upper Cervical Chiropractic Exam and Upper Cervical Series Xrays. Sensors in every gram of tissue including muscles, joints, etc. These sensors detect position sense telling the brain how much stretch or tightness there is in the entire musculoskeletal system. The region most densely populated with these receptors is the muscles at the base of the skull, connecting the top cervical bones. –

This can be corrected with our Technique E.P.I.C. Upper Cervical Chiropractic. This involves objectively analyzing upper cervical misalignment, and then objectively realign it. General Chiropractic adjustments in the neck, and soft tissue therapy, will help considerably but not if the bones at the very top of the neck are misaligned.

4) Visceral/GutGag reflex, autoimmune blood labs from Cyrex (or Other) that details which foods or environmental triggers are causing autoimmunity / leaky gut and also how to go about fixing it. A Functional Medicine approach and our “Gut Restoration Protocol” can improve the leaky gut, decrease inflammation, and then the gut stops signaling the brain to calm down.

5) Sinus pressure– Can be relieved with Cranial Facial Release.
